The University of Illinois Springfield hosts a panel discussion and
Q&A Wednesday, March 23rd, with faculty experts examining the causes
and repercussions of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The panel will
feature UIS faculty experts Dr. Sibel Oktay and Dr. Heather Bailey, with
a special guest in Dr. Nik Ford from the University of Tampa.
The
panel will be moderated by Dr. AJ Simmons, Research Director of the
Center for State Policy and Leadership at UIS. Each panelist will
provide comments and answer questions based on their area of expertise
to help UIS and our neighboring community understand the conflict.
